We invite proposals for papers that are related to this year’s conference theme of “Major Constitutional Developments in Asia in the First Decade of the 21st Century”.

Notes for Successful Applicants

 

A nominal registration fee for the Conference will be imposed to cover conference materials and tea breaks. The Conference Organizer will assist in booking hotel accommodation for the Speaker for 3 nights (15-18 December 2011), but the Speaker will have to pay for his or her accommodation. Candidates whose papers are accepted for presentation will be notified by email by 1 September 2011.

 

 

 

About the Forum

The Asian Constitutional Law Forum provides an opportunity for constitutional law scholars in the region to establish academic exchanges and share their research. The first Forum was held at the Seoul National University, Korea in 2005, the second at the Center for Asian Legal Exchange of Nagoya University, Japan in 2007, and the most recent, in 2009 was organized by the College of Law at National Taiwan University .

The Forum aims to provide a venue for distinguished scholars to share their thoughts and opinions on the developments of Asian constitutional law, to expand research networks and to encourage collaboration. Scholars, PhD candidates and researchers are welcome to participate.
